Elissa Leah Carrick
Providing legal services in the Hudson Valley. Specializing in Personal Injury Law.

I have extensive experience working for some of the largest Plaintiffs firms in the Hudson Valley. As well, I have spent time working in house for one of the largest insurance companies. I understand the complexities of personal injury cases from both sides. Each client that comes into my office has their case handled personally by me, they are treated like a person, not like a file.

I have spent time in many roles including as a supervising attorney and a trial attorney. I have trained many new attorneys at the beginning of their careers and continue to mentor many of them as they excel in their careers.

I was named to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars List each year since 2016. I was also named one of the 10 best attorneys for client satisfaction by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys, a 10 best attorney for high verdicts and settlements, and a Top 10 Attorney by Attorney and Practice magazine. In addition, I currently have a perfect 10 rating by Avvo with a 5 star review.

I look forward to meeting with you and helping you with your case.

How did your upbringing lead you to become a lawyer?
Growing up, I watched my father run a local business and help people in the community. I always knew I wanted to come back to my community and help people as well. As I grew older, I realized that the best way to accomplish that was through the legal field.

What do you love about your job?
My favorite part about my job is having the opportunity to meet new people and help them through a difficult time in their life. I understand that when clients reach out for help they are dealing with one of the most difficult times in their lives. Being able to provide support and guidance through that period of their life is a rewarding experience.

Why did you become a lawyer?
I have always had a desire to help people. Being able to come back to the place I was raised and work to make a difference in my own community allows me to fulfill that goal in the best way possible.

Why Choose This Firm?

Ms. Carrick spent many years working for some of the largest law firms in the Hudson Valley. While this afforded her the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge and valuable experience, she grew frustrated with the way cases were handled, and more importantly how people were treated. She wanted to open a different kind of law firm.

  • A law firm where each person who walked through the door was treated as an individual.
  • A law firm where clients could call and get the same person on the phone every day to answer questions about their case.
  • A law firm where no issue was too small and no question would go unanswered.

Ms. Carrick was born and raised in the Hudson Valley, graduating from Middletown High School and Marist College. She is intimately familiar with the area and the people who live here. Each potential client who walks through the door will meet with Ms. Carrick personally and she will be able to give them an honest evaluation of their case and the timeframe to resolve it. If Ms. Carrick accepts the case, each client will work with her and she will be available to them throughout the time she is working on their case to answer any questions that may come up and guide them through the process. If this sounds like the right kind of law firm for you, please feel free to contact us to set up a free consultation.
